About me
When students communicate their life challenges through big emotions, Anne-Marie Bixler-Funk’s passion is to bring clarity and support to the educators that support them. As a PBIS Coach at Olathe Public Schools, she assists educators in behavioral social emotional learning strategies that ensure the best learning opportunities and outcomes for student success.
Prior to becoming a PBIS coach, Anne-Marie had a variety of experiences in education. She was the lead educator in an adolescent residential facility, an instructional coach, a professional development consultant, a classroom teacher, and a university adjunct professor.
Anne-Marie earned her Ph. D. in Teaching and Learning from the University of Kansas, a M.A.T from Webster University, and a B.S. in elementary education from the University of Nebraska. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dogs, exercising, and enjoying life to its fullest potential.
