About me
I am proud to be a product of the DeSoto School District and feel incredibly fortunate to have spent the past 13 years serving the students in this community. For 11 years, I worked as a special education teacher at the middle school level, supporting students in both resource room and center-based settings.
Currently, I serve as an Instructional Specialist for the district, with a primary focus on supporting our center-based programs.
I hold a degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Special Education from Kansas State University, and a Master’s degree in Low-Incidence Special Education from Southwestern College.
Outside of work, I’m a busy and grateful mom to three young children, ages 6, 4, and 1. My husband and I stay on our toes—and have a lot of fun—keeping up with all their activities!
