Partners from Johnson County Mental Health and Children's Mercy will present an overview of their services and what our students and families experience in their care. Each entity will provide individual overviews and share how they partner to best support our students and families. We will conclude our time together reviewing established Olathe practices and procedures that complete the circle of support.
This collaborative session invites middle school counselors to come together and engage in meaningful discussion and planning for the upcoming school year. With a focus on the unique developmental needs of middle school students, participants will explore key topics, such as social-emotional learning, academic intervention strategies, behavior support, transitions, and building a positive school culture. Through shared dialogue and idea exchange, counselors will reflect on past experiences, align on best practices, and co-create plans that foster student growth and resilience. Join us for an energizing opportunity to connect, collaborate, and prepare to make a difference in the year ahead.
