Writers Workshop for High School Classrooms LIMITED

Ever heard Writers Workshop said at professional development? Curious and wanting to learn more about what it's all about? This session will offer a crash course on the writers workshop model, an open panel of current high school teachers to answer questions, and an opportunity to make and share manipulatives (anchor charts, checklists, and mentor texts!) that can be implemented in your own English classroom this fall!

As BLT co-chairs we have been diving deeper into teacher clarity all school year. We have applied learning intentions and success criteria into our own classrooms and helped other teachers in our building do the same. Now, we are wanting to share our knowledge and ideas with others. This session will go over how we have used learning intentions and success criteria in multiple subjects and how we have communicated these with students.
